Our extreme heavy duty carbon fiber gaffs are light, float, extremely rigid for ultimate control of the gaff shot, and provide durability with killer looks for a fraction of cost of our competitors!

Carbon Fiber is considerably lighter than aluminum, stronger, and much easier to handle. Each model floats if lost overboard for easy retrieval!  We stand behind our products and offer a 2 year warranty against carbon fiber breakage if the gaff is used properly. 

Specs

• Made from 3/4" & 1" diameter handle made from multiple layers (over 10) of high strength 3K carbon fiber prepreg with 2 x 2 twill fabric weave on the exterior.
• Available with the original Winthrop Hook and new Winthrop J Hook in 2", 3", and 4" Hook sizes. (2" and 3" hooks come in 3/4" diameter blank, 4" Hooks come in 1" diameter blank.
  
• 2" and 3" Hook Sizes are recommended for Kingfish, Mahi, Wahoo, School Sized Tuna (20-80 lbs)
• 4" Hook Size are recommended for Tuna over 100 lbs (Big Eye, Yellowfin) Swordfish, and Giant Bluefin Tuna.
• These gaffs float.
• Rigid for precise control and accuracy when gaffing and lifting big and small fish over the gunwale.
• Carbon fiber offers superior stress, shock, and fatigue properties compared to aluminum handle gaffs and weigh less than fiberglass gaffs.
• Two 10" long tuna cord rope grips. 
• The cello wrapped textured finish on the exterior of the handle offers a natural non slip grip when choking down on the gaff while lifting fish over the gunwale.

• Standard two year warranty covers carbon fiber blank breakage or cracking under normal use. Bent gaff hooks are not covered.
